Summary of the contracting process

The Middlesbrough Borough Council has completed the tender process for the Tees Valley Complex Care & Support Framework, aimed at improving care quality for individuals with learning disabilities and autism in the local community. This public procurement opportunity presents a chance for businesses in the health and social work services industry to engage with Local Authorities in the Tees Valley area and contribute to providing high-quality care services for vulnerable individuals. The procurement method followed an open procedure, with key procurement dates ending on November 1, 2022. The successful bidders, including both large and SME suppliers, have now signed contracts with significant financial values to deliver complex care and support services under the framework. Businesses offering personalised and value-based services have the potential to compete effectively in this procurement process.

TVASC014/2022 Tees Valley Complex Care & Support Framework

Notice Description

The Local Authorities based in the Tees Valley area (consisting of Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland, Stockton, Hartlepool and Darlington) are committed to ensuring people with learning disabilities and or autism who have complex and challenging support needs (including forensic needs), receive responsive and bespoke services which enable them to live fulfilling and rewarding lives, safely and where possible in their own local community.
