Notice Description
Newcastle University will enter into a contract with Histoindex pte Ltd for provision of second harmonic generation/two photon excitation microscopy to support a natural history cohort study in subjects with liver disease. The contracting party will conduct specialist artificial intelligence-based analysis of liver tissue sections following second harmonic generation/two photon excitation microscopy data capture, including the use of their own proprietary techniques, to support clinical research.

The contracting party will conduct specialist artificial intelligence-based analysis of liver tissue sections following second harmonic generation/two photon excitation microscopy data capture, including the use of their own proprietary techniques, to support clinical research. The award is lawful according to: The negotiated procedure without prior publication may be used for public works contracts, public supply contracts and public service contracts in any of the following cases: 1. competition is absent for technical reasons and. 2. the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights
