White Woods Primary Academy Trust ICT Managed Service
Notice Description
The White Woods Primary Academy Trust (WWPAT) is a Trust of 13 Academies encompassing c.3,122 pupils in and around Rotherham. The Head Office is based at Canklow Woods Primary School WWPAT was established in 2013 and has a considered growth strategy. In summary the Trust may encompass circa 15-18 schools in the next 5 years. Central to White Woods PAT is the determination to work together in partnership to enable the Trust to offer the best possible educational experience to all children in our local communities. It is our aspiration to become a hub of excellence, helping to promote the life chances of all children in our Trust. Vision All of our children, from any background, will be supported to excel both academically and socially, developing the skills of lifelong learners. Our Mission Our schools will be exceptional and provide children and adults with a breadth of exciting opportunities promoting curiosity and broadening the mind. We will build positive, challenging partnerships with each other and the wider community promoting aspiration and ambition. Values Our 4 C's; * Child-centred - Our children are at the heart of all we do. * Collaborative - We work collaboratively, learning and supporting each other to maximise the achievement of our children and adults across the trust. * Curious - We embrace new learning and promote curiosity in all, always striving to improve, keeping 'the main thing the main thing'. * Challenging - We set ourselves and our children aspirational targets and are open to professional challenge and support. The companies identified from these shortlisting questions to receive the ITT for the Managed Service will then receive a detailed set of requirements. For the purposes of this shortlisting stage bidders should assume that the ITT will include, but is not be limited to; * strategic advice and direction to the Trust regarding ICT * a 42 week core service, incorporating on-site staff/visits as necessary * 24/365 service desk * local staffing that bidders deem necessary to deliver the SLA * responsibility for design, specification, installation, and management of all ICT infrastructure * Backup provision and management. The Trust has an ambition to move to a serverless solution, but until then backup will need to cater for local backups as well as backing up the cloud services. * supply of goods and services based on an agreed Best Value (BV) approach * management of all ICT against an agreed SLA * management of 3rd parties * relevant monitoring, management, patching and reporting * training - technical and curriculum as necessary * expectation that the provider will drive innovation * risk registers and inventory management * collective partnership targets aligned to the Trusts objectives * in school support for the integration and upgrade of the communications and security infrastructure Bidders should note the following: * The Trust will provide a standard contract as part of the ITT Pack * There maybe be a requirement for TUPE from existing suppliers, but this is to be confirmed.
