Notice Description

The responsibility of policing the Abnormal Load function lies with Wiltshire Police but we are seeking a contractor to be responsible for managing all incoming notifications for all Abnormal Load movements through and within Wiltshire, providing permanent ongoing administration support and a reporting function for those that require police escorts. The entire function is to be outsourced but is not limited to the authorisation, management and storing of the notifications along with reporting where possible. Proven past performance of dealing with on average 70-100 notifications per day, along with the seasonal management of both agricultural and haulier dispensations. The Prior Information Notice is to alert the market of the requirement. We would like to hear from you as part of our market engagement phase, prior to the tender opportunity.
