Accommodation and support for 16-25 year olds in Somerset
Notice Description
This is not a call for competition and is not yet a contract opportunity. Somerset County Council and the four District Councils would like to invite you to a market engagement event to discuss how, together, we can prevent youth homelessness across Somerset by delivering housing related support and accommodation for 16-25 year olds. We are keen to hear feedback from a range of providers as part of the wider consultation for these services. Market Engagement Events Market Engagement events will be held on 12th and 13th January 2023. Purpose of the event: * For Somerset Councils to share its vision of a future service delivery model * To seek feedback from you as experts; * To help plan towards potential forthcoming procurement arrangements; * To build on existing expertise and ensure best use of the funding resources; There will be an opportunity for potential and interested providers to book a future appointment to discuss any thoughts or questions with commissioners. Organisations that take part will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any way in any potential future formal procurement. Commercial confidentiality will be respected. This notice does not represent a formal commitment by Somerset County Council to undertake a procurement procedure.

(Bridgwater area) * Date: Friday 13th January 2023 * Time: 09:00 - 09:30 for registration, 09:30 - 12:30 for the event * Venue: t.b.c. (Yeovil area) * Event Registration: To attend this event please send a message through the e-tender system www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk providing the name of your organisation, the name of the person(s) wishing to attend (Max 2 per organisation) and a contact email address for each to enable us to send through the full details of the event and the venue. Please ensure that those attending from your organisation are the most appropriate to feed into the discussions. If you are unable to attend the event, the presentation, notes and associated documentation will be available through the e-tender system www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk. Please respond by the deadline of 12:00pm on 09th January 2023 if you wish to attend. Thank you. SCC reserves the right to cancel or re-arrange these events at its own discretion. Thank you.
