Notice Description
Halton Borough Council is seeking to re-commission its Healthwatch and Advocacy Services. It is the Commissioners' intention that Healthwatch and the various elements of Advocacy; Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), Independent NHS Complaints Advocacy and Care Act Advocacy, is delivered within one contractual arrangement. TUPE will apply to this contract.

Halton Borough Council is seeking to re-commission its Healthwatch and Advocacy Services. It is the Commissioners' intention that Healthwatch and the various elements of Advocacy; Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), Independent NHS Complaints Advocacy and Care Act Advocacy, is delivered within one contractual arrangement. TUPE will apply to this contract. Additional information: Initial contract period- 3 years. 1 x 24 month extension available, to be given at the discretion of the Council. Estimated contract value is based on a 24 month extension being given. If no extension is offered the contract value would reduce to approx. GBP 880,758. If only one extension is offered then the estimated contract value would be GBP 1,467,930.
Renewal: 1 x 24 month extension for the period 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2028 All criteria are stated only in procurement documents.
