Lancashire County Council would like to invite our existing care and support providers and any prospective providers to join us to discuss our approach to commissioning for a range of services over the next 12 years. Our Vision is to enable people to live as independently and healthily as possible with the right level of care and support for themselves and their carers with prevention, early intervention and promoting independence at the heart. Our approach will put the person at the centre of every decision and use their strengths to help keep them safe and living independently for as long as possible. Specific types of provision included within our scope include: Short Term Care & Support Homecare Overnight supports Extra care We are in the process of agreeing our specifications for Short Term Care & Support at Home provision and Homecare and invite you to discuss the key components of our approach and specification with our commissioning managers as part of our ongoing engagement with our Lancashire providers.
