Provision of NHS General Practice support to MOD Abbeywood
Notice Description
The Contractor shall provide a Primary Health Service and Occupational (OH) service to all Service Personnel. This is to be provided at the Medical Centre MOD Abbey Wood during normal working hours (Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1630hrs) or by virtual means. In exceptional circumstances, medical attention may be provided at a patient's home during normal working hours, provided it is within the Contractor's own practice boundaries. Patients requiring urgent treatment between 1630 -1830 hrs may be seen at the Contractor's CQC registered premises (provided it is within 30-minute driving distance of Abbey Wood)

Lot 1
The Contractor shall provide the full Primary and Occupational health services service to Service personnel for both registered and temporary registered personnel under the entitlement to care (Guidance Number 8) within the DPHC Handbook at the Medical Centre at MOD Abbey Wood . The Contractor's personnel have clinical responsibility for the patients they see and treat. Services are to include: a. Acute, urgent, and routine Primary Care, including management of minor injuries and minor illnesses and referral on to secondary care where required in accordance with the NICE guidance and local secondary care referral protocols i.e for potential cancer diagnosis this would be within 1 day of the consultation to enable the 2 week wait process to proceed. b. Referral to DPHC intermediate services (mental health, rehabilitation, and occupational health) in line with DPHC Handbooks Vol 5 - Occupational Health, Vol 6 - Rehabilitation and Vol 7 - Mental Health c. OH including Service medicals and hearing conservation d. Preventative Health Services to include public health immunisation and screening e. NHS Screening programmes f. Chronic Disease Management g. Health Promotion Additional information: The Cyber Risk Profile for this requirement identified by the Cyber Risk Assessment is Not Applicable (Reference - RAR445108669)
Options: The Authority reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to extend the framework agreement for a period of up to 24 months. This option period is 01/10/2028 to 30/09/2030.
