Notice Description
The House of Lords and the House of Commons are intending to establish a bicameral parliamentary framework for the supply and installation of furniture and associated services. The single source supplier will work closely with IHSE to deliver a space efficient working environment and will support the Authority to standardise on workspace furniture and to secure products that minimise environmental impact. Covering an extensive area and, with a unique built environment, the parliamentary estate is home to thousands of employees with differing workstyles and furniture requirements. In addition, the estate welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year who include tourists, school parties and delegates attending events on the estate. Continuing a programme of essential building upgrade works (mechanical, electrical and security), furniture is being replaced where required as to improve space usage and building efficiency.
