1.1 Medway Council are procuring services in relation to the Government Multiply scheme, The main aims of the scheme are to improve numeracy skills in adults aged 19+ who do not currently have a level 2 in Maths. This is to be delivered through an array of defined interventions. The aims of the project are to: a) increase the number of adults achieving maths qualifications (up to, and including, Level 2 - with GCSEs and FSQs as our qualification of choice in England); b) improve labour market outcomes; and c) increase adult numeracy across the population 1.2 This specification relates to the Multiply Intervention - 'Courses designed to help people manage their money'.
