***This advert is for market engagement only***NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care board intends to undertake a procurement process for the provision of Community Services within the Kent and Medway region. The commissioner has published this Prior Information Notice to support market engagement only at this stage. It is the current intention of the commissioners to procure the service and appoint a provider to deliver the service covering the Kent and Medway region.

NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care board (KMICB) are planning a significant transformation of its model of care for the provision of its Community Services.

Providers are invited to attend an all day market engagement event on the 11th May 2023 to be held at Cathedral Lodge Canterbury. Further details relating to the venue and specific timing of the event will be communicated to registered providers.

The objective of the market engagement event is to help shape and inform the transformation of our Community Services. The event will be a facilitated workshop for participants to discuss what our Community Service offer will need to be for the future, what innovative models are around the NHS, changes within the community workforce and potential demand for service over the next 10-15 years.

The event will be aimed at delivering the following:

- A sense of where we are now and where we want to be in the next five, ten and fifteen years
- Ideas on the model of care for Community Services
- Potential for integrations of pathways, shared workforce models and financial constraints.

In order to register to attend the event, please follow the instructions provided later in this notice (Section II.2.14.1). Providers are asked to complete a short questionnaire as part of the registration process.

Please note, this PIN relates to service within the scope of Schedule 3 thereto (Social and Other Specific Services). The Commissioner(s) and AGCSU are, therefore, bound only by those parts of the Regulations applying to Schedule 3 services (also known as the "Light Touch Regime").

The commissioner does not bind itself to commencing or running any public procurement procedure further to, or as a result of, this market engagement.

Any subsequent procurement, if undertaken, will be commenced by way of a separate call for competition via a relevant notice published in Find a Tender.
