This contract will be awarded on behalf of the The Department of Health (DoH), Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG) in Northern Ireland. It will be for the provision of Counselling and therapeutic interventions for adult survivors of sexual violence and abuse. The service is in place to support Adult survivors of sexual violence and abuse that includes the range of diverse groups outlined in Section 75 Northern Ireland Act 19981. It is specifically seeking to support those individuals who have moved on from the immediate crisis stage in their journey, and for those who are at the stage where therapeutic intervention has the best potential for a positive outcome for the individual. * The service is not for perpetrators of sexual abuse or violence - irrespective of whether there has been involvement with the criminal justice system or not * The service is for adults aged 18 and over only The service will involve, note this is not an exhaustive finalised list: * Providing a range of therapeutic interventions, including counselling, to survivors of sexual violence and abuse * Promotion of the availability of the service * Raising awareness of the implications sexual violence and abuse can have upon the individual and others within the family The purpose of this PIN is to raise awareness of an upcoming procurement and gauge the level of interest in the provision of such services, and also to make potential Providers aware in advance of key service requirements and the introduction of Northern Ireland Procurement Policy Notes (PPN) relating to Social Value & Human Rights that will be included in any future Tender.
