Procurement Information
Under Regulation 32(5)(b) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015, use of the negotiated procedure without prior publication is permitted where the requirement is for additional deliveries by the original supplier which are intended as the extension of existing supplies, where a change of supplier would oblige the contracting authority to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance. In line with Regulation 32(6), the duration of this direct award will not exceed 3 years.
