Bradford District Heat Network
Notice Description
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the Council) looking to procure a framework for long-term low carbon heat supply for a certain number of their buildings within Bradford. The framework is intended to be available to public sector owners of property in Bradford, including The University of Bradford. This specification document sets out the requirements of The University of Bradford as well as the Council. Initially, the Council wishes to appoint a contractor/supplier to provide a heat supply for a series of buildings identified in Section 16 "Load Schedule". The contractor shall coordinate and undertake initial construction of any interface works, provide handover documentation and training to the building owner, operate and maintain the heat supply, provide emergency support in the event of heat outage and de-commission and remove from site their plant at the end of the contract.
