Essex County Council: TFM Market Engagement November 2024
Notice Description
Introduction: Essex County Council's (the Council) current Facilities Management Contract ends on the 30th September 2026. The Council has started on our journey of discovery, regarding how the Facilities Management provision could evolve and innovate beyond this date and would like to engage with the Facilities Management Industry as part of this approach. Market engagement: Following our previous market engagement sessions and our RFI, the Council is seeking further engagement with TFM Providers. Throughout November, December, January and February the Council will be hosting a series of market engagement sessions, aimed solely at providers who can provide Hard FM, Soft FM and Programme Management as a single package. The events will aim to cover in detail topics of, the pricing model, specification, KPI's and climate and social value although this is not an exhaustive list. If you would like to attend 1-1 discussions on the topics listed above with the Council, Please respond using the message function on Pro Contract Project DN710367. Deadline for responses is Thursday 24th October. The pre- event briefing, with more details about the first event in November can be found here: https://www.essexproviderhub.org/facilities-management-and-property-re-procurement/live-surveys-and-most-recent-resources/. Please ensure you have read the pre-event briefing before registering your interest for this event. These events are aimed solely at TFM providers. Additional information: Respondents are advised that the purpose of this notice is to engage in dialogue with the market and ascertain interest / options available. The scope of service, date of publication or potential contract value should not be taken as a final "version" of requirement. This PIN does not constitute a call for competition to procure any works or services and is not published to reduce time limited for the receipt of tenders. This is NOT a live tender opportunity. Interested parties will not be prejudiced by any response or (lack) to this PIN. Nor shall a response to this PIN guarantee an invitation to participate in this market consultation exercise or any future procurement process that Essex County Council may conduct. Essex County Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party responding to this PIN or any party who may participate in the market consultation exercise. Essex County Council uses Proactis ProContract as its eSourcing portal. Suppliers will only be able to access further information and messaging functionality with the Council via a registered account. Registration is free of charge and gives bidders access to opportunities from several other Local Authority and Public Sector organisations.
