This notice is being published to formally recognize NGN's continued expenditure on Validation Loggers during 2023. Due to transaction value NGN has purchased these from Abriox Ltd following a below threshold tender process. For reasons of continuity and consistency of supply NGN is about to award another contract to this supplier for more of the same equipment with the total value procured in 2023 now exceeding the procurement threshold for supplies.

Procurement Information
This is the second contract awarded to the supplier this year bringing our total spend with them for this type of product in 2023 to PS458K which is above threshold. This requirement is covered under regulation 50 which states. Utilities may use the negotiated procedure without prior call for competition in the following cases- (e) in the case of supply contracts for additional deliveries by the original supplier which are intended either as a partial replacement of supplies or installations or as the extension of existing supplies or installations, where a change of supplier would oblige the utility to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance;
