Separate contracts will be required for each Trust.

Additional information against all of the schools listed in this notice in terms of number of pupils, ethnicity, mealtimes, services required, menus etc. will be provided with the formal ITT to be issued to the list of shortlisted contractors. As far as catering services are concerned however, these can basically be summarised as follows: - Cafeteria style, healthy snacks at breaktime - Cafeteria style lunches at lunchtime - Occasional evenings/special events. - Occasional hospitality. It is paramount that the Chef understands creating tasty food that is delicious, healthy, and relevant to the needs/wants of our students. The Trusts are placing the school's catering contract out to competitive tender by inviting professional catering companies to bid for the contract. The target date for the contract to be awarded following due process is the 14 December 2023 for a commencement date of 1 April 2024 for St Bartholomew's CE MAT and 1 September 2024 for Elston Hall Learning Trust. Separate contracts will be required for each Trust. The contract will be awarded to one company and is expected to generate combined revenues of GBP1-1.2M per annum across the two Trusts.

Options: Multi Academy Trusts/Learning Trusts are continually growing. As a result, confirmation will be sought that should new schools be added in future they will be subject to the same terms & conditions negotiated as part of this contract.

Renewal: As the contract approaches the end of it's initial 3 year duration the option of a 2 year extension will be discussed.
