Summary of the contracting process

The Wiltshire Council is conducting a procurement process for the CS1731 Short Break, Clubs and Activities Scheme within the services category. The scheme aims to offer social and educational activities to Children and Young People (CYP) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the United Kingdom. The procurement stage is currently active, with a tender period ending on December 1, 2023, and bid opening on November 6, 2023. Key deadlines for receipt of tenders or requests to participate were amended to January 8, 2024, ensuring stakeholders are aware of the revised timeline.

This opportunity presents a chance for businesses providing welfare services for children and young people, daycare services for handicapped children and young people, and similar services, to engage in providing tailored activities for CYP with SEND. Companies offering services in the activities and leisure sector aimed at promoting inclusion and skills development for this target demographic would be well-suited to compete. The procurement method employed is an open procedure covered by the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA), offering accessible and fair participation to interested suppliers.
