Only CQC registered domiciliary care agencies to apply. A Market Engagement event will be held from 11:00-12:00 on Monday the 6th November 2023 for suppliers intending to participate and who are on the DPS.Qualification of Management and Delivery of Home Support (Domiciliary Care, Personal Assistants/Replacement Care) Services (via Adult Social Care DPS Lots 5, 8, 20, 21 specified in Stage 1 of the DPS.) Anyone intending to take part in the mini-competition must have applied for and been successful at the First Stage of the DPS. Please note that a Second Stage Mini Competition for this provision will be launched on or around the 5th December 2023 via the DPS route . Recommended deadline for participants to submit their completed SQ's if not already on the DPS and to be able to participate and be able to reasonably develop their tender is the 17th November 2023
Lot Information
Lot 1 - Generic services
A Market Engagement event will be held for suppliers intending to participate from 11:00-12:00 on ~Monday the 6 th November 2023. The meeting will be by invitation only. Please register your request to attend by emailing ASC.Commissioning@slough.gov.uk with DPS Support Event - Home Support Services in the subject line.We require your email address so that we may invite you to a Microsoft Teams meeting. You will then be emailed the Microsoft Teams invitation. We welcome SMEs as well as larger providers to join the DPS . The Mini Competition will appoint more than one provider. Slough Borough Council (SBC) is seeking providers of Home Support Services (Domiciliary Care/Personal Assistants/Replacement care) who can offer a range of support options to meet individual needs to register on its Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The service will include provision of CQC Domiciliary Care regulated activities and on occasion unregulated activities for the care and support of individuals in their own home, or on short breaks away from home and support for daytime activities based inside or outside the home. In order to be invited for upcoming mini competitions you must register for one or more Service Lots 5, 8, 20, 21 when completing your Stage 1 Selection Questionnaire (SQ). Please note that a Mini Competition for this provision will be launched on or around the 5th December 2023 via the DPS route. Recommended deadline for participants to submit their completed SQ's and to be able to participate and be able to reasonably develop their tender is 17th November 2023. Please submit your Selection Questionnaire (SQ) by or on 17th November 2023if you are interested to be qualified onto this particular opportunity which will be launched via the DPS on or around the 5th December 2023 with a view to competing in this and further competitions via this route to source. Once your SQ has been evaluated, you will be informed of the outcome. If you have been successful to be qualified onto Stage 1, you will automatically receive an invite to participate within the Stage 2 Mini Competition. If you do not submit your Stage 1 application by the 17th November 2023 this may mean your organisation will not be assessed in time to compete in the mini-competition. The SQ can be found and submitted via the SE Shared Services Portal. You will need to first download the SQ from the portal, complete it and then upload the completed SQ back onto the portal where indicated. If you have any queries or would like any support registering on to the DPS please contact ASC.Commissioning@slough.gov.uk . It is important that you register in good time as the processing of your application can take up to 10 working days. If a Tenderer proposes to enter into a Contract with the Authority, it must rely on its own enquiries and on the terms and conditions set out in the Contract(s) (as and when finally executed), subject to the limitations and restrictions specified in it. Neither the issue of this Prior Information Notice, nor any of the information presented in it, should be regarded as a commitment or representation on the part of the Authority (or any other person) to enter into a contractual arrangement.
