This requirement is urgent due to the impact on operational delivery as an Authority Join Service Publication (JSP 893) has recently been amended which implements new measures which restrict staff employment and existing roles who require Disclosure and Baring Service (D&BS) checks. The Tri Services have highlighted that the current delays to D&BS clearances are having a negative impact on key service areas and it is imperative that a newly improved service is implemented in the most timely manner possible.\""
