Biosolids Recycling Activities for Howdon and Bran Sands
Notice Description
Northumbrian Water have a requirement for the spreading of biosolids (from advanced anaerobic digestion plants) for both Howdon and Bran Sands Sewage Treatment Works (STW's). NWL would deliver wastewater sludge using in-house fleet, off-load it onto the land/farm and stockpile, and the Supplier(s) then would be responsible for spreading activity and associated activities. Spreading is required for the following volumes: * Lot 1 - Howdon STW (post code NE28 0QD) circa 50,000 tonnes of biosolids per annum; * Lot 2 - Bran Sands ETW (post code TS6 6UE) circa 50,000 tonnes of biosolids per annum;
