Engaging with 60 farmers and land managers, this proposal seeks to test two new and innovative payment mechanisms to understand if they would incentivise farmer involvement in future schemes. The test will also investigate the use of 30 year conservation covenants as a basis for scheme length and how payments can be structured between landowners, tenants and groups at a landscape scale.
