Newham Council is holding a virtual Meet The Buyer Event on Thursday 7th March 2024 at 2:00 - 4:00 pm. The event will be an opportunity for organisation interested in joining Newham Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS) Lot 2, Round 5 Children's Homes to clarify key requirements of the PDPS tender process and share general feedback on issues identified during tender process thus far. This is not an invitation to tender.

The London Borough of Newham (PDPS) Commissioning Homes for Looked After Children includes the provision of: Lot 2a: Provision of Standard Children's Homes regulated by Ofsted Lot 2b: Provision of solo homes for children with complex needs This is an information event for all providers of Children's homes to hear about the Newham PDPS Framework, Lot 2 Round 5, Children's homes. Lot 2 Provision of Children's homes includes the following sub categories: i) Children and young people with significant challenging behaviour ii) Children and young people with risk taking behaviours to themselves and others iii) Children and young people with offending or highly sexualised behaviours iv) Children and young people with multiple and profound disabilities with complex medical needs and high level of medical appointments v) Children and young people with significant mental health and emotional needs e.g. suicidal ideation vi) Children and young people with serious sexual and criminal gang exploitation risks. Organisations will also be given the opportunity to ask commissioners any questions. If organisations have any questions, please note them on Eventbrite when registering for a ticket for the event and these will be addressed during the event. All questions and answers will be shared with attendees.
