Support is provided by the Navigators within the A&E, and afterwards in community settings.- A Market Engagement Event will be held on Wednesday 17th April 09:00 - 14:00 location TBC. The purpose of this market engagement event is to provide interested parties with comprehensive details of the services required, identify opportunities for collaboration and provide information to support bid preparation. Navigators are people (often with a youth or social work background) based within Accident and Emergency (A&E) Departments and community settings who can support relevant patients to 'navigate' their way away from violence, exploitation, criminal activity or other harms (whether they are a victim, perpetrator, or both). Support is provided by the Navigators within the A&E, and afterwards in community settings.The Navigator Service across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, will help:Reduce re-victimisation / re-injuryReduce serious violence and violent homicidePrevent offending/reoffendingReduce attendance at hospital Support health care settings to capitalise on existing local supportImprove life chances for children, young people and young adultsAt this stage Commissioners will be holding one market engagement event:- A Market Engagement Event will be held on Wednesday 17th April 09:00 - 14:00 location TBC. The purpose of this market engagement event is to provide interested parties with comprehensive details of the services required, identify opportunities for collaboration and provide information to support bid preparation.Parties wishing to attend these events should login to, or register as a new supplier on, the In-Tend e-tendering portal and send a message to the buyer expressing an interest, before midday on Friday 12th April.
