Notice Description
This is an intention to award decision notice pursuant to Regulation 9(3) of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, also known as PSR2023 to award the above contract under Direct Award Process C.

Lot 1
The service to be delivered is an integrated sexual health service for South Tyneside. The provider will be responsible for improving sexual health in South Tyneside and ensuring that access to self-care, health promotion, contraception, sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment services are provided through a range of qualified statutory and 3rd sector organisations across the borough in accordance with sexual health needs. The 5 year contract will commence 1 July 2024.
Options: Following the initial 5 year term there is an option to extend the contract by 1 x 2 years.
