DEFENCE MEDICAL SERVICES REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR THE PROVISION OF GLOBAL MEDICAL AND DENTAL HEALTHCARE TO DEFENCE SPONSORED PERSONNEL
Notice Description
Defence Medical Services are requesting information on the below mentioned requirement. The Authority intends to engage with industry and are looking for expressions for interest from parties who wish to dial in/hear more on the requirement. The Requirement: The Authority has a requirement for a Global Medical Support Service. The intent of the contract is to provide service for Defence sponsored personnel who routinely travel globally without access to assured, free at the point of use healthcare. Accordingly, should the need arise, a route is required to timely, free at the point of use medical and dental care, for the Authority's staff on duty overseas. The Statement of Requirement sets out the delivery objectives of the contract. The Authority does not require a bespoke built service, but the service does need to meet the essential requirements that will be set out at a later stage. We request that industry respond to the below questions to confirm interest and return these to Anastasia.cadby100@mod.gov.uk. The closing date for expressions of interest is 28/06/2024. Q1: Is the Global Medical Support Service Contract something your organisation would potentially be interested in? Q2: We are planning to engage virtually with the market in July. Q3: Please confirm whether this would be of interest to your organisation? If yes, please provide company name, names and email addresses for those interested in potentially attending an engagement event (virtually via Microsoft Teams). (Maximum 3 people) Q4: Do you have any questions regarding the requirement description above which you would like us to address? Q5: Please state your organisations global coverage for medical and dental services All interested parties will be given further information relating to further engagement at a later date.
