Notice Title

Research into the Needs of the Bereaved Armed Forces Community

Notice Description

Researching the needs of the bereaved Armed Forces community to provide information and evidence to inform the development of a grant programme to help address those needs.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The Trust ran a consultation from June to July 2023, whereby members of the Armed Forces community could feed into and help shape the Trust's 3-year Covenant Funding Framework. As a result of this, the Armed Forces bereaved community came through as a cohort, with specific needs. Consequently, the Trust's 3-year Covenant Funding Framework has built in the capability to create a programme designed to meet the needs of the Armed Forces bereaved community. The programme will be valued at approximately PS2m, with a view to awarding the first grants in the 2025/26 financial year. This research will help to form the foundation of that programme design.
