Summary of the contracting process

Staffordshire County Council (SCC) is in the procurement stage for the provision of Supported Living Services, targeting adults aged 18+ with care and support needs including Learning Disabilities, Autism/ASD, Mental Health and Physical Disabilities, and Sensory Needs. This procurement falls under the Health and Social Work Services industry category (CPV: 85000000) and is structured as a service procurement. Prospective suppliers are invited to participate in upcoming engagement events on 18th and 23rd September 2024, to be held in Staffordshire at designated locations and via MS Teams, with a BSL interpreter available for the onsite event. Interested parties should express their interest using the contract reference number IA3345 through SCC’s E-tendering Proactis system.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in health and social care services to expand their portfolios and establish strong relationships with local authorities. Ideal candidates include organisations with expertise in providing comprehensive support for individuals with complex needs. Engaging in this process allows businesses to influence the development of SCC's Commissioning Plan and secure a position within a critical public service provision framework. Small to medium enterprises operating in the care sector, as well as larger established providers, would find this an attractive and potentially lucrative opportunity to grow their business and enhance their service offerings within Staffordshire.
