Notice Description
The Department for Science, Innovation & Technology ("DSIT" or the "Buyer" or "the Authority") commissioned a Tender through RM6126 - Research and Insights DPS. This project is to conduct: * a short research study to quantitatively investigate how the use of LLMs can make synthetic biology accessible to non-experts. * The Supplier should develop (in close iteration with AISI) and run a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) where groups of people with varying levels of biology expertise conduct a biology task in a laboratory with the support of * google-based internet search * a state-of-the-art LLM * a human expert.
