North Northamptonshire Council - Supporting Carers Service in North Northamptonshire
Notice Description
North Northamptonshire Council (hereafter referred to as the "Council") and on behalf of Northamptonshire Children's Trust wishes to invite Tender Responses for Supporting Carers Services in North Northamptonshire. The Service is made of the following Lots: * Lot 1 - Information and Advice Service Adult/Young Carer Assessments * Lot 2 - Carer Wellbeing The Service will be available to all Adults ordinarily resident in North Northamptonshire, and children under 18 years of age, often referred to as Young Carers. The provider will be required to deliver Supporting Carers Service to meet a range of needs, including but not limited to: * Identifying Carer needs through the Carers Assessment process * Assisting Carers to remain in their caring role if that is what they want * Supporting Carers to maintain their own wellbeing * Ensuring Carers eligible outcomes are achieved The Provider will work in collaboration with North Northamptonshire Council and Northamptonshire Children's Trust to identify more joined up and efficient ways of ways of working together. The Light Touch Regime (LTR) applies to the Services under this Contract, as per Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

Lot 1 - Information and Advice Service Adult/Young Carer Assessments The Provider will undertake the following activities on behalf of the Council: * Operate a Carers Information and Advice service * Complete Carers assessments * Identify the Carer's eligible needs * Record individual Carer's outcomes * Review the Carer
Lot 2 - Carer WellbeingLot 2 - Carer Wellbeing Under this lot, the Provider will provide comprehensive support to carers through a variety of community-based services, ensuring trained staff are available for personal care and other regulated services. Outreach support will be offered at accessible locations like GP surgeries and community centres. The service aims to reduce carer isolation and promote a balanced life through employment, education, volunteering, and social activities.
