Summary of the contracting process

Wolverhampton Homes Ltd has issued a tender for a framework agreement to appoint up to four established and competent contractors to conduct detailed Property Condition Surveys in occupied social housing dwellings throughout Wolverhampton. The industry category is building surveying services, and the main procurement category is services. The tender, titled "WH24007 - Framework Agreement for the provision of professional services relating to Disrepair Surveys," is currently in the tender update stage. Significant dates include a final submission deadline extension to 14th October 2024. The framework duration is up to four years with an estimated total contract value of £1,100,000. Interested parties are required to submit electronically.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in building surveying, particularly those with expertise in timber and damp surveys and legislative compliance under various housing laws such as the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018. Companies with experience in providing detailed and independent reports to address housing disrepair claims will find this opportunity particularly beneficial. Securing a place on this framework could lead to consistent work over a four-year period and significant growth prospects by establishing a robust relationship with a key regional authority.
