Delivery must be at 13 specific sites in Calderdale, and at community venues & as outreach, as well as delivering virtual & digital provisions. Lot 2 Family Hubs Day Care: the provider must deliver the service as part of a wider Family Hubs offer, offering early education & childcare in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory Framework. The successful provider must deliver, 326 registered day care places across 9 established day care locations, delivering services within the Family Hubs within each location. The provider must ensure each Day Care setting is registered with Ofsted. The same provider can bid for either or both Lots and details will be provided in the tender documents of how to indicate Lot preference.

Family Hubs Services: Lot 1 Family Hubs Core & Family Support Provision and Lot 2 Family Hubs Day Care Provision

Lot 1 Family Hubs Core & Family Support: includes delivery of universal & targeted support, advice & activities, & family support, with a focus on targeting vulnerable families & contributing to the priority outcomes. Delivery must be at 13 specific sites in Calderdale, but also at community venues and as outreach, as well as delivering virtual & digital provisions, to ensure that services are accessible to families living across the borough of Calderdale. There must be a consistent approach to assessment, planning, delivery & evaluation across the Service. The core element of the service must be delivered to children aged under 5 years & their families. Family support & outreach services will be delivered to children pre-birth to 19 years (up to 25 years SEND) and their families but with service priority allocated to children under 5 years and their families. The Provider will be expected to flex the provision in each local area to achieve priority outcomes, to reflect local needs and assets and in collaboration with local families. Lot 2 Family Hubs Day Care: the provider must deliver the service as part of a wider Family Hubs offer in Calderdale, offering early education and childcare in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory Framework. The successful provider must deliver, 325 registered day care places across 9 locations in Calderdale, delivering services within the Family Hubs within each location. Although this is a universal provision, there must be a focus for the day care delivery on meeting the needs of vulnerable children and for children eligible for the Government funded childcare and early education entitlements. The provider must register each Day Care setting is registered with Ofsted. The service will form part of the whole system approach to early years provision, working closely in partnership with the Council and other early years partners, as part of the Family Hubs partnership. The same provider can bid for either Lot /both Lots.
