Notice Description
NHS England is undertaking a Request for Information (RFI) exercise to explore the availability and supply of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) devices and Insulin Pen Needles. The aim of this Request for Information is to gather relevant information from suppliers in the market to better understand current offerings, innovations, and potential solutions that can support effective diabetes management in NHS services.<br/> <br/>This exercise is purely for information gathering purposes and does not constitute a formal procurement process. However, the information provided will assist NHS England in shaping potential future procurement strategies and ensuring that patients benefit from high-quality and cost-effective products.<br/> <br/>Key Areas of Interest:<br/>- The range of Continuous Glucose Monitoring devices available.<br/>- Features and benefits of CGM systems, including accuracy, ease of use, and connectivity with other diabetes management tools.<br/>- Insulin Pen Needles, including size, comfort, safety features, and availability of various gauges.<br/>- Innovations in the field of diabetes care, including new products or technologies.<br/>- Supplier capabilities, including delivery, support, and potential cost efficiencies.<br/> <br/>Suppliers with relevant products and services in these areas are encouraged to participate in the Request for Information process<br/> <br/>This PIN is for market engagement purposes only. Participation in this Request for Information does not constitute any offer or guarantee of future procurement, and it does not imply that a contract or tender will follow.<br/><br/>Providers wishing to provide information will need to respond with the information requested by the documentation and submit responses prior to the deadline stated in this notice.
