Institutionally Harper Adams University is in its initial phase of embedding sustainability into its campus, curriculum and community. The priorities in the next 24 - 36-month period are Estate Decarbonisation, Waste Management, Strategic Development, & Stakeholder Engagement. Within the organisations waste management provision, a clear & determined approach to implementing the circular economy principals and the 5 R's refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose & recycle will be essential to achieve the necessary goals to be set to ensure a reduction of negative impacts on the local & wider environment. It is imperative that all Harper Adams University partners moving forwards in this sector share these values and strategies.
