Notice Description

Lot 1 is for the supply of metered natural gas to sites across the estates of FirstGroup's rail businesses with an estimated annual consumption of 39 GWh. The intention is to award a contract 3+2 term. The contract is expected to commence 01/07/2025.

Lot Information

The Provision of Metered Natural Gas

The supply of gas to an estate of ~160 sites consuming ~28 GWs per year with supporting account, query and billing management services

Options: The contract award includes an option to extend for a further 2 years in addition to the initial 3 year term.

The Provision of Half-Hourly & Non-Half-Hourly Metered Electricity and Support Services

Lot 2 is for the supply of metered, REGO-backed, electricity, Meter Operator and Data Collector (DC) / Data Aggregator (DA) services to the estates of FirstGroup's rail business and Affiliates with an estimated annual consumption of 55 GWh. The intention is to award a contract 3+2 term. The contract is expected to commence 01/10/2025. This Lot may be awarded individually or may not be awarded in event Lot 3 is awarded. A more detailed specification is available within the Tender Documents.

Renewal: FirstGroup is seeking an initial 36 month term with an option to extend up to a further 24 months upon completion of the initial term.
