The procurement, currently in the planning stage, covers the North East and North Cumbria Region in the UK. Key dates to note include the availability of Request for Information (RFI) documentation from 18 October 2024, with responses due by 17:00 on 1 November 2024. A future contract notice is anticipated on 2 December 2024.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in health and social work services, particularly those with capabilities in crisis support and digital communication. Small to medium enterprises, as well as larger organisations, with experience in health services, can leverage this to expand their market presence in the North East and North Cumbria region. The process emphasises electronic submissions and market feedback, suitable for tech-savvy businesses ready to engage digitally. Participation in this RFI can position businesses strategically for future procurement opportunities under the new Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, potentially leading to substantial contracts valued at approximately £908,000.
