    "description": "This Prior Information Notice (\"PIN\") has been published by the Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) Business Services Organisation (BSO) on behalf of the Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG) of the Department of Health Northern Ireland. A previous PIN was issued in respect of this tender for the provision of a Hearing Aid User Support Service (HAUSS) to Empower Adult Service Users in the use of Hearing Aids following issue in Northern Ireland (Notice reference: 2023/S 000-005530) - available on Find.a Tender (https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/005530-2023) . A market engagement exercise and an associated Pre-Tender Market Engagement Paper was also conducted to engage with and receive feedback from the market by outlining the SPPG's proposals for the key elements of the service, its procurement plans and requirements (CfT Reference: 4731962 - available on www.eTendersNI.gov.uk). The purpose of this PIN is to provide an update to the market in respect to the following: (i) It is anticipated that the tender will be advertised late Autumn / early Winter 2024/2025; and (ii) Cyber security - Cyber Essentials Plus certification to be in place by Contract Commencement date. This notice relates to the planned procurement of services classified as 'Social and Other Specific Services' under Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (\"the PCR\") which will be subject to the provisions of Chapter 3, section 7 of the PCR, otherwise known as the Light Touch Regime (\"LTR\"). Please note, the 'Estimated date of publication of contract notice' in Section II.3) of this notice is estimated and is subject to change. The procurement exercise will be conducted in accordance with the information contained in any final published tender documentation. There is no guarantee a procurement process will run.
