Summary of the contracting process

The London Procurement Partnership is spearheading a dynamic purchasing system (DPS) for the provision of non-emergency transport and other transport services, classified under the CPV category 60000000. This DPS is being orchestrated by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and covers services across the UK and Channel Islands, facilitating procurement by NHS and other public sector bodies. The DPS is currently in the tender update stage as of 29 October 2025, with deadlines extended to 6 February 2026. Key categories include core patient transport, mental health transport, and high dependency transport. Suppliers can register their interest online by searching for Project ID: C377947.

The DPS presents numerous opportunities for businesses specialising in transport services, including those involved in booking and eligibility assessments, taxis, and high-dependency transport. The unrestricted nature of supplier admission to the DPS offers an extensive opportunity for various business sizes to participate, fostering growth and expansion. Being part of this DPS not only opens avenues for consistent contracts with NHS bodies but also with a wide array of public sector organisations, enhancing business profiles and expanding client bases across multiple sectors.
