Notice Description
Port of Dover is seeking information from suppliers of Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) software and support services in advance of a procurement process anticipated to be held in early 2025.

Overview * Our current Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) hardware and software was implemented in 2018. * Port of Dover is embarking on an upgrade of the associated hardware. Our objective, and the focus of this request for information, is to implement a replacement for our current VTS software at the same time. Scope and key requirements * Source an appropriate replacement VTS IALA compliant software solution. * Implement the refresh and update of the VTS hardware, operating systems, and VTS software. * The implemented system must meet requirements of the NIS2 Directive. * Port of Dover intends to supply all hardware components. * The scope does not include replacement of Radar, CCTV, AIS, VHF system, and Radar Sensors. However, these elements will need to be integrated with the implemented system. Supplier Expectations * Companies expressing an interest will be expected to have previous experience of such implementations and be able to evidence this through an upcoming PQQ. * Interested suppliers are requested to email PODtender@portofdover.com referencing this PIN and providing the correct contact details (name, email, phone number) to facilitate pre-procurement engagement. Next Steps * The Port of Dover intends to issue a Request for Proposal for this business. * It is not anticipated at this time that this procurement will be required to follow a regulated published procedure. Timeline We anticipate starting the procurement process early in 2025.
