Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Community Self-harm Reduction support service
Notice Description
The service is commissioned to deliver self-harm service interventions.
Lot Information
Lot 1
Description of the services to be provided: The service is commissioned to deliver self-harm service intervention and to support the LLR community by providing local access and evidence-based intervention for people who self-harm. The service aims to reduce the rate and severity of self-harm, promote health, hope and recovery of people of any age who are in psychological distress and do, or are at risk of, self-harm. Qualified therapists will be trained to deliver a range of therapy approaches in line with national guidance for self-harm. The evidence-based model will include stabilisation sessions throughout the client's journey to ensure clients get immediate support for an acute presentation but also to ensure they get the best outcomes from subsequent therapy. This service will fit within a 'whole systems' integrated approach to respond to self-harm and the mental health and emotional wellbeing needs of the LLR population in line with the wider suicide prevention plan. The lifetime value of the contract is PS822,713 exclusive of VAT. The dates between which the services are intended to be provided are from 1st September 2025 to 31st August 2027 plus an extension option of up to 24 months (to 31st August 2029). Additional information: There is an extension option of up to 24 months from 1st September 2027 to 31st August 2029
