Notice Description
To provide specialist technical advice on matters related to planning proposals and potential proposals. This advice will support the work of the Planning Response Unit, primarily (but not exclusively) relating to providing advice on planning matters connected to the preparation and application of the Special Development Order (SDO) regime under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

Specialist technical advice is needed to support planning decisions under the Planning Acts, and a variety of associated regulatory regimes. This advice could include (but is not limited to) advice on one or more of the broad technical areas: Socio-economic conditions and human health, Noise and Vibration, Lighting, Air quality, Waste and materials management, Flood risk and surface water management, Ground water and ground water management, Protected areas or assets of particular importance, Habitats sites, protected and other species, and biodiversity, Heritage, Archaeology, Traffic management, access, and highway design, Design, Hazardous substances, Health and Safety, Contaminated land, Civil engineering in relation to site investigations
Options: In line with regulations where applicable
