Lot 1
Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire ICB are intending to award a contract to the existing provider following direct award process C for 3 years. The services within this contract have been identified and notified as on the reserve list of services to be considered to be included in the Integrated Community Based Care Contract (ICBC) which is due to go live on 1st April 2025. Reserve services will not be included in the ICBC contract from 1 April 2025, but will be considered to be included in the future which has informed the contract term for this direct award. The approximate lifetime value of the contract is PS71,861. The contract is for three years (1 April 2024 to 31 March 2027). This notice has been published by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
Procurement Information
The current incumbent, Helen and Douglas House, meets and in some cases exceeds the requirements. The provider is currently meeting the required outcomes within the contract. They offer good value for money and are meeting activity expectations. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 17th February 2025. This notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
