Notice Title
Dashboard Camera Solution for Police Vehicles
Notice Description
Thames Valley Police (TVP) are looking for a supplier who can provide an end-to-end networked high-definition Dashboard Camera and supporting software platform with a working Application Programming Interface that will allow evidence from the Dashboard cameras to be uploaded into the existing DEMS. As part of this project, TVP are looking to source a solution that will support our serving police officers when in the line of duty to protect them and the public. Video evidence in our vehicles is becoming increasingly important as incidents on the road can quickly escalate. This connected approach can bring an additional boost to the efficiency and effectiveness of our police operations. The requirement is for a mounted video camera to be installed into vehicles to record high-definition colour images / videos using Infra-Red LED's where necessary but do support a high dynamic range (HDR). These images / videos will be used to support insurance claims and evidence in Court proceedings.
