Summary of the contracting process

The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is seeking services for the incineration of radioactive waste under the procurement title "Incineration of Radioactive Waste." The procurement process is currently in the tender update stage, with an extended submission deadline of 11 April 2025 at 12 PM. Companies equipped with the necessary certifications, such as Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors (DGSAs), and the capability to manage diverse packaging requirements will find this contract particularly advantageous. This procurement process supports long-term business growth through a potential contract period from 23 May 2025 to 22 May 2026 with an optional extension of up to four additional years based on mutual agreement, ensuring a significant ongoing opportunity for the selected service provider.
