Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board are intending to award Memory Assessment Service to ReMind UK following the outcome of a most suitable provider process under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, Most Suitable Provider Process.

This notice is placed as an intention to award to inform the market that Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board ("BSW") are intending to award the Memory Assessment Service to ReMind UK following the outcome of under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, Most Suitable Provider Process. BSW sought to commission a Prime Provider with the capability and capacity to deliver Memory Assessment Services, in line with the specified requirements to people registered with GP surgeries within Bath and North East Somerset. The Memory Assessment Service is tasked with improving early detection, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of dementia by implementing a model of care, informed by joint commissioning and built upon close partnerships with other agencies, which meets the need of known and hidden people with dementia and the predicted future demand. In line with the Provider Selection Regime regulations and the process undertaken (Most Suitable Provider) the following notice was previously published: F01: Prior Information Notice - 2024/S 000-038760 The lifetime value of the contract is expected to be PS282,997. This is an existing service and will be delivered by an existing provider. It is anticipated that the contract will be in place until 31st March 2026. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by midnight, 19th March 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR'.
