Contract Summary
Bristol City Council has awarded GP practices and pharmacies contracts to deliver 3 primary care services. Direct award process B has been used. The intended contract term is as follows- Lot 1 Sexual Health Services minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years - 3 + 2 + 2 Lot 2 NHS Health Checks - maximum of 5 years Lot 3 - Substance Use Services minimum of 5 years and maximum of 9 years- 5 + 2 + 2 The value of the contract per provider is dependent on services delivered across the term of the contract. Payment rates are set against each service. Providers will be awarded during the duration of the contract if new expression of interest is received and eligibility is determined. These are existing services and existing providers.

Contract Summary
This notice is to provide an update for GP's and pharmacies based in Bristol on the Bristol Primary Services contracts. Please note this is NOT a framework. Eligible providers can register interest for contracts for these services by advising which service (or referred to as “lot”) they are interested in and completing an eligibility form as these services can only be delivered by GP’s or pharmacy’s based in Bristol. This procurement process will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Provider Selection Regime 2023. Any providers interested in registering interest for these services can do so through the Procontract project. For support on how to do this please register interest for our provider event. Any expressions of interest will need to be reviewed by the commissioning team to determine eligibility before award. It should be noted that any expressions of interest will be reviewed at the Council's earliest convenience however 30 days should be allowed to complete this. There is no end date for providers to register interest, this will remain open for the duration of the contract terms. In order to support GP and Pharmacies we will be holding a supplier engagement day on the 17th March via Teams. This event is provide further information on using the Procontract system to register for contracting of any of these services.
