This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Written representations must be made to ruthcarr@gateshead.gov.uk. The decision has been made by the Director of Public Health for Gateshead. Relative Importance ok Key Criteria: Quality and Innovation: 25% Value: 10% Integration, collaboration and service sustainability: 25% Improving Access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice: 30% Social Value: 10% Rationale for Key Criteria: Quality is a key tool in current contract management and a significant measure for health services. This criteria is reflective of the Council's wider agenda and policies. Value:The contract currently benefits from economies of scale; sharing the same provider with South Tyneside Council, resulting in some shared staffing. The integration of health and social care services is a key driver in the Council and ICB's approach to health. Service collaboration alongside collaboration with voluntary and community sector partners in terms of service design is a frequent finding and recommendation in health research. This criteria is reflective of the Council's wider agenda and policies. Reducing health inequalities is a key driver in the Council's Thrive agenda, underpinning our Corporate Plan and the Health and Wellbeing Strategy. The provider is already delivering the contract so social value is already present. The provider was evaluated in accordance with the key criteria identified and scored above the threshold as set by the contracting authority. No conflicts of interest were identified.",
