Notice Description
This procurement is being conducted under the Procurement Act 2023 using the Competitive Flexible Procedure. This competitive flexible procedure will be conducted is a multi-stage process. Stage 1: Participation phase (PSQ stage) Stage 2: ITT Stage Stage 3: Site Visit Stage 4: Negotiation Stage 5: Invitation to Submit Subsequent Tenders Stage 6: Best and final offers (BAFO) Stage 7: Award of Final Tender

Planning Information
The central objective of the market engagement event is to provide further details on the scope of requirements and planned procurement activities, to gather feedback from the market and to gain market insight on the capabilities, capacity and interest in the region. FCDO invites interested suppliers to attend an Early Market Engagement (EME) session relating to the provision of Hard Facilities Management Services and associated future procurements. This EME took place 15:00-16:30 UK time (10:00 – 11:30am EST) on Wednesday 4 December 2024 and was online via Microsoft Teams, with representation from the project team in Washington DC, Estates, Security and Network Directorate (ESND) and FCDO Commercial. This EME event is an opportunity for prospective suppliers to understand current planning for the provision of Hard Facilities Management Services for the British Embassy in Washington DC, to ask questions, and to provide feedback on the scope of requirement and procurement process. The FCDO makes no obligations or undertakings in any way to: a) Commence any procurement activity; or b) accept any PIN information received from suppliers; or c) any other commitment to suppliers whatsoever, including any intention to form a contract with any supplier for provision of this, or any other, future tender opportunity. 2. Costs of preparing the response All costs relating to the preparation and submission of a response are the sole responsibility of the supplier. The FCDO shall not pay the supplier, wholly or in part, for its response to this PIN. 3. Suppliers to inform themselves. The FCDO has taken all reasonable care to ensure that the PIN is accurate; however, the FCDO gives no representation or warranty as to the accuracy or sufficiency of the contained information.

"statusDetails": "On behalf of the British Embassy in Washington DC, we regret to inform that ITT_7181 - Provision of Hard Facilities Management Services for the British Embassy in Washington will need to be cancelled and restarted due to the opportunity value being advertised at an underestimated amount. To comply with The Procurement Act 2023 regulations, this means we will have to restart the process with advertising the correct estimated value. As a consequence of this, the FCDO will no longer be proceeding with the current procurement process, however, the procurement for Provision of Hard Facilities Management Services for the British Embassy in Washington will be re-tendered and re-advertised as soon as possible. All bidders participating in the previous tender and any other potential suppliers will be invited to bid again to ensure fairness in the process.
