Notice Description
The South East London (SEL) boroughs of Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth and Southwark are considering their options for future commissioning of Community Equipment Services. Several models are being considered that seek provision of a combination of the service delivery aspects below. * Equipment Provision * Logistics (storage, delivery, collection, repair and maintenance) * Equipment Provision and logistics The four boroughs are keen to engage with leading and reputable providers in the design of this model. To avoid any duplication of work by potential providers, SEL have partnered with North Central London (NCL) boroughs for this Information gathering exercise. SEL and NCL are not currently planning to procure services together in the future. If you would not lie SEL to share your response with NCL then please highlight in the relevant box below for consent. We would like to hear from any organisations who are currently providing these services to further understand: * Interest in working in Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth and Southwark * Views on operating models * Pricing * Preferred contractual arrangements, and * Potential challenges, issues and/or risks This notice includes a questionnaire (appendix A) which can be completed by any size of organisation wishing to engage and assist the Council in this market insight stage. To avoid any duplication of work by potential providers, SEL have partnered with North Central London (NCL) boroughs who are undertaking similar horizon scanning work for this information gathering exercise. If you consent to SEL sharing your response with NCL then please indicate your agreement within Q6 of the questionnaire below. The boroughs are keen to engage with leading and reputable providers to inform long-term planning, including consideration of various potential models: • Equipment provision • Logistics (storage, delivery, collection, repair and maintenance) • Combined equipment provision and logistics We would like to hear from any organisations who are currently providing these services to further understand: • Interest in working in South East London (Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, and Southwark) and North Central London (Barnet, Camden, Haringey, Islington) • Views on different potential operating models • Pricing benchmarking • Preferred contractual arrangements, and • Potential challenges, issues and/or risks This notice includes a questionnaire (appendix A) which can be completed by any size of organisation wishing to engage and assist the Council in this market insight stage. Please complete the enclosed questionnaire (appendix A) and submit the response via the messaging service. This is NOT the commencement of a procurement procedure, neither is it a call for expressions of interest. This notice does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services for the Council and the Council is not bound to accept any proposals offered. The Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in this soft market testing/sounding exercise. Any procurement of any services by the council in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023.
