Summary of the contracting process

Bath Spa University is seeking to implement a Curriculum Management System (CMS) to enhance its academic programme management, with the procurement now at the tender stage. Located in Bath, UK, the university is looking to digitise and streamline multiple aspects of curriculum design and management to align with its Strategy 2030, which focuses on the institution's growth and diversification. The open tender procedure invites suppliers to participate, with a total contract value of £600,000 and submissions due by 14th November 2025. Companies able to deliver a comprehensive software solution that integrates CMS functionalities without requiring manual third-party interventions stand to benefit significantly. SMEs and those affiliated with VCSEs are noted as particularly suitable, as the tender is designed to consider such organisations. It provides the opportunity to build long-term engagements through the system's operational lifecycle and potentially through further extensions offered within the contract tenure.
